Re: Looking for a IIgs monitor
Another good (in the eyes of the beholder?) source for monitors is
in thrift stores and flea markets. Vigilance is a virtue here, since
stock comes and goes all the time. One good find is a Magnavox
(I forget the exact model number) monitor, which can handle NTSC,
digital and (if you have the fancier one) analog RGB. The picture
isn't quite as sharp as Apple's monitor, but it may be cheap.
Prices vary, depending on who's working that day, their mood,
store policies, proximity to the sun, and often if it can be tested
to see if it works. I've seen them from $10 to $40.
