Re: GSOS icon recognition problem. (fwd)

Well I tried Nathan's advice and it hasn't worked. Has anyone got any
other ideas on how to solve this problem?

That's what I thought the problem was too, so I removed ALL the icon files
from my disk, excepting my custom icon, and rebooted GSOS to no
avail...like I said earlier, I've had no problems with other filetypes
with generic Finder icons...its only a custom TXT icon. I am also becoming 
convinced that certain generic Finder icons are part of the GSOS 6.0.1
system resources and are not part of a regular ICON file in the ICON
directory. Is there a GSOS resource editor available?
