You can get GSHK and GSCII+ on disk from Joe Kohn's SSII
organization (http://www.crl.com/~joko/). As for 8-bit II's,
there is a ProDOS 8 Apple IIe/IIc program called A2FX that
reads 800K (or 1.44MB if you have a FDHD drive and controller)
Macintosh HFS disks, splits forked files, and types them,
all on the II side. A2FX is also available on disk from Mr. Kohn.
I'm not saying ProTYPE is bad, just that there are other ways
(even on IIe and IIc computers).
Incidentally, I was all for putting the ProTYPE info in the FAQ,
but I also want A2FX info and GSHK/GSCII+/HFS FST info in the
same section. I agree that the FAQ, before, made Mac to II
transfers unecessarily difficult.
