Memory Plus moved from that location in late 1995. I have no idea where they
went. They must be proud of what they sell because not only was their
business run from 2 networked Apple IIgses, but they also had a personalized
license plate that proclaimed "APPLE 2" in there store in Scotsdale. I sure
hope they didn't go out of business since they had a lot of good stuff. I
bought my copy of ProTERM as well as a memory expansion card from them. There
was a woman at the Scotsdale store who knew the GS inside and out. At that
time, I'd never read comp.sys.apple2 and this was the only person I knew who
really knew what they were talking about. Such people are hard to find
without looking. As an example, I recently saw a GS (no keyboard, disk
drives, nothing except the main box and monitor) for $25. The person selling
it said "it only has 128K of RAM." I proceeded to explain to him that the
original GS started with 256K and opened this one up and found a 256K Apple
memory card making it the school-standard 512K model.
