Apple SchoolBus system??

   Hey there Apple Lovers,

Today I was reading through an old Apple Promo Manual: The Apple Guide to
Personal Computers in Education (1983) and came across a section which
mentions an item called the Apple SchoolBus.  It states that this is "a
system that allows up to tthiry student stations to share the  disk drives
and printer of the instructor's computer. . ."  Does anyone have anymore
info on what exactly this was.  It was supposed to work on a IIe, II, and
II plus.  Was it a pre Appletalk network for two's?  Did it ever make it
into production?.
