Getting Appleworks GS on the ramdisk is easy to explain.

First create the a ramdisk at the maximum size (2400K) Turn the computer
off, then back on with the flashboot disk in your drive.  When it boots,
choose prepare ram disk for use.  Do not turn the computer off after you
do this or you will have to start from the top once agian.

Place your Appleworks GS system disk in the drive and choose boot slot
5.

When the system comes up, copy all the files on the system disk onto the
ramdisk.  Then place the flashboot disk in the drive again and reboot.
Choose "boot ramdisk once" and hold on to your seat.  This will be the
fastest boot you've ever seen.

Install Appleworks GS using the installer on the tools disk (I think) If
not tools, than it's on utilities.

>From here you have two choices.  Boot the flashboot disk and save your
images or install system 6.  If you choose to install system 6 then
place the install disk in the drive and reboot.  Run "Easy update."  The
entire system 6 won't fit, but this will update the existing system 5
files with system 6 and include prodos 8 and basis system on the drive.

No reboot one more time with the flashboot disk in and make your image
disks.

Repeat after me....
