$40 is invalid path if my memory is on. Pretty likely since you're talking
Appleshare. All names in a file's path have to be ProDOS legal if you want
ProDOS 8 to access 'em, even on a server.

My old manuals are boxed up and haven't seen the light of day since I moved
almost a year ago. But the Addison Wesley ProDOS 8 Tech Ref Manual lists all
the codes. I'm going from memory so can't swear to it but I think $40 is
an invalid path.
