PC Exchange *should* read ProDOS formatted 800K and 1.44MB 3.5"
disks. If it's not recognizing a valid 800K disk, your Mac may have
fallen victim to Apple's going cheapskate on 3.5" drives, and being
less than 100% compatible with its own (earlier) hardware. Hopefully,
your Mac's still under warranty and you can take it back as a lemon.
