Telecom through Appletalk?

Ok, here's what I'd like to do...  

Hop on to my provider with my PC via PPP, and open up a telnet window.  I'd 
like to feed that to my GS through Appletalk (which as you all know, is 
already connected) into Spectrum, so I can use SIS (and other shell 
stuff) through my PC's connection. Is this possible?

I also know that Mitch wants to do the same thing, except through a serial 
connection to the PC, instead of Appletalk.  

Can this be done, or is our only hope to wait for GS/TCP?  Thanks!
