This is not true. You can actually give the software to others (i.e. the
"right" to use it), but then you must remove asll copies on your system and get
some form of proof of purchase. This seems to be unnecessary administrative
stuff, but it is absolutely required because it makes license transfers so
cumbersome you won't give it to others for a short time.
