A 'Z80' is a type of microprocessor, which had its major use in the
Apple II realm in running CP/M programs. Other than that, it is not
really needed much at all. Both CP/M and Z80s are fairly outdated and
rare among Apple II users; except for the novelty factor, there's no
real "killer apps" driving people to really want to use Z80s nowadays.
