Here are some things to check:
Imagewriter and Printer drivers are in SYSTEM/DRIVERS.
In the DC Printer cintrol panel, port is Printer and Printer type is
Imagewriter.
Printer is connected to Printer port.
All Appletalk drivers are removed from SYSTEM/DRIVERS.
SCC.Manager driver is removed from SYSTEM/DRIVERS.
Any AppleTalk Inits are removed from SYSTEM/SETUP as well as the main
directory.
Closeview and other buggy Inits are yanked from SYSTEM/SETUP.
Any screen saver NDA's or CDA's are yanked from SYSTEM/DESK.ACCS.
Desktop is deleted from ICONS folder(s).
You can stick stuff you do not want to delete in a main directory
folder named MISC.HOLD.
Admittedly, the suggested "checks" represent a 'shotgun' approach.
You may want to try just one or two at a time. If SCC.Manager is in your
SYSTEM/DRIVERS folder, getting it out is a good bet for letting your
printer connect.
After setting things up the way you like, rebooting the system.
Start CoolWriter and see if you get a printout.
