I'm confused.  I've got an OctoRAM board with 8MB RAM and have never had any 
problems at all.  The system recognizes all 8MB RAM and it is quite usable in 
every application I own.

What are some of the problems associated with 8MB?  I know that DMA is limited 
to the first 4MB.  What others are there?
