Ok, I just want to know exactly -- *Everything* I need to have to do
the job.  I want programs (games) and stuff from the internet to my
apple.  I have a //e.  Now, I don't want to buy a Serial Card for it
-- as I believe I need, if I will not be successful and know *all* the
facts about what's needed to copy these files.

I understand that I need binscii and shrinkit to unshrink and then
un-binscii.  I also understand that I need a null modem cable.  I do
not need a modem.  Now the //e has no serial port , is this true?  I
would need a serial card then.

But I need to know *all* the facts before I go out and start spending
money on this project.

Can anyone tell me *ALL* the facts.  I think that I need to have
Pro-Dos to use shrinkit and binscii, is this true?  What else do I
need to know????
