Turn on the profile, let it spin up and do its bad block check, then turn
on the //e. No tricks involved.

You need an enhanced //e to boot from anything other than a disk II. If
you don't have the enhancement, you have to do a PR# to boot from the
Profile. If you do have the enhancement, maybe you're trying to boot
before the Profile is ready. It takes a while to come up.
