Re: ProDOS 32MB limit?



I am not aware of any way around the 32MB partition limit for ProDOS.  The
way to handle this is to partition your large hard drive into multiple
logical volumes.  ProDOS 2.0.3 can handle up to 14 drives and remaps the
extras into other slots (the slots are still available for other cards).

ProDOS 2.0 requires an enhanced IIe.  If you have an unenhanced IIe, you
have to use ProDOS 1.9, which handles disk partitions and SCSI chains just
fine but has a slot limit of two drives per slot.  It cannot remap them
like 2.0 does.
