l was reading up on the original model Apple II's peculiar escape key code
last evening. When I found what I wanted, I flipped around the book some
more because I haven't looked at a while. I marveled yet again at how
strangely unorganized its contents are.
Then I had déjà vu! The page I had just looked at for the escape code,
page 27 under the BASIC section, sub-titled "Special control codes" appeared
again on a later page, around 70, IIRC! Was I seeing things? I flipped back,
and yes, it was true! There are three duplicate pages in the Apple II red
manual. I noticed there was one small difference though. A table from the
first set of pages does not appear in the later set of pages.
Weird! Anyone else notice this?
Or for that matter, are there any other oddities in the red manual which you
have discovered? (barring, of course, the manual as a whole)
