Here's how I see it, to extend a statement made by R.A.T.: AOL, much
like WWIV BBS and the chicken pox, is something we get when we're young.
AOL is sort of a warmup stepping-stone for newbies to get used to the
cyber-community while they find a real ISP. I don't slam on people who
stick that free AOL disk in their computer -- I slam on people who never
matured beyond that bit of pablum and use AOL for more than 6 months.
