We don't know that.  I think that someone at Corel actually told him
that it would be reclassified.  Corel is a large company, with things
easily getting mixed up.  He did, after all, get Medley released.

The important point to get out of this is that persistance pays off.
We can all sit around arguing about pirating old software or not, but
when it gets down to it, tracking down the owners is the only way.

Impossible, some say?  Corel's willingness to release the software
is an excellent example.  Had they had the rights, they WOULD have
released it as freeware.
