Software Quandary

I am fairly new to the Apple 2GS platform and I am puzzled by the software 
availability for the machine. I have read the FAQs and didn't find the answer 
to a question I have. The flap over the status of Wordperfect GS is a perfect 
example of my confusion.

Is there a list somewhere of GS software that includes its distribution status 
reguarding if it is freeware, shareware, commercial or what?  And what about 
the number of its latest revision?

I worked for a several weeks putting together a working 2GS system and now I 
really need something other than System 6.0.1, Hypercard GS, and my diminished 
collection of Apple 2e games.

Help.
