It's the same company. They might have put their name on a card originally
manufactured by someone else, though.
BTW, to head off your probable next question, the card will run CP/M but you
need a version that goes with the card (in part because it needs to handle the
Disk ][, in part because MS apparently changed the ROMs on different versions
of the card or something).
Incidentally, Microsoft's _software_ division only stopped supporting Apple ][
programs very recently... a while ago their Web site had a list of newly
unsupported titles, and all the Apple software was there! (I'm sure the list
still exists, but the Apple titles may now be gone.) Their recommendations
for replacement products were very silly in some cases.
