If I understand your question right, the adidam sysadmin did not just
notify the right people automatically. Joe was contacted about the files on
the server by someone who saw them there, and Joe then contacted the adidam
sysadmin. I don't know for sure, but I imagine Joe got the adidam sysadmin
to contact wco.com. So, no it didn't just happen, BAM!, by itself.
