Zip drive not working with High-Speed SCSI. Help!

Hi! Thanks for reading my post.

I'm trying to get an Iomega Zip Drive to work with my GS and I'm having
some trouble. I have an Apple High Speed SCSI card, and the Zip is (at
the time, since my HD went down) the only SCSI drive connected to it.
I'm using a IIGS ROM 01 CPU with the SCSI card in slot 1 (so it'll start
up first).
I used Apple's High Speed SCSI Card Utilities disk and partitioned the
drive, but GS/OS won't recognize the partitions as being formatted! It
asks me if I want to reformat, and fails if I attempt to do so.

I've heard of lots of people running GS/OS off of a Zip, but most of them
have a RAMFast SCSI card. Could someone please tell me if this is
possible with Apple's High Speed SCSI card? I understand the two cards
are VERY different in terms of disk access methods.

Thanks a lot!
Chris
