Maybe power related or heat related (I think, but my experience is
limited).  I had this problem too.  I have a PCTransporter, TransWarp
GS, and several other cards and had to run a fan in the back of the
IIgs to get it to work for more than half an hour.  Finally, I read
about Dr. Stephen Buggie's PC power supply converted for the Apple
IIe/IIgs.  I bought one from him and installed, no more problems.  You

It cost me $27 + s/h.  Not much to be rid of a headache.
