Go to ftp.support.apple.com and get the HQX versions of the disks. Run Disk
Copy to write the images to 800K disks, and presto, instant system disks.
Only problem with this setup is that 800K disks are getting hard to come by;
don't try to use HD disks unless you cover the HD detect hole and format 'em
as 800K. Your mileage may vary on the reliability of doing this.

BTW: The person who wrote the FAQ is no Mac fan so don't expect much in the 
way of Mac help from it.
