Free PPP help

I have a friend trying to get connected to the internet with a IIcx. When we 
run Free PPP, it just flashes and does nothing. Can Free PPP run on A IIcx? Is 
ther something I'm overlooking? We can zterm into the site but can't get PPP to 
dial.. By the way the modem is a Global Village. I think I got rid of all of 
the fax software which is usually the biggest problem. Any help woould be 
appreciated...Thanks HEAPS!
