sure it's possible...  chop the first 1076 bytes off the .xgs image, and
you have an 800k image of a gs disk...  then get yourself a copy of nulib,
a program for unix/msdos which handles nufx archives, and run it with the
folling commandline:

nulib ad filename.shk filename.xgs

and it makes an archive as if the 800k file was a disk...  there it is in
two steps...  just get it over to your gs through null modem, hooking a
phone cable between pc modem and gs modem, etc...
