My HFS volumes are relatively small--below the "critical" size that
the bug affected. The small size lets me have an empty partition,
but it is tempting to dump things in it. :)
Surprisingly, there's been no errors. Could it be that the errors
are actually being avoided by keeping adjacent all the blocks of
each file?
