Ok here's an odd question for the group. Is it possible to assemble a
complete Apple IIe setup (monitor, disk drive, printer) that is
entirely the Platinum color? I know they made some Platinum colored
peripherals for the IIc line but I'm not sure if those are 100%
compatible with the IIe or not.

Right now I'm using a IIe (enhanced), Duodisk, and AppleColor
Composite IIe monitor, but the cream color never appealed to me (it
always looks like a yellowed white) so I'd like to upgrade to the IIe
Platinum version. I think the later 5.25 disk driver were available
in the Platinum color, but I'm not sure about the monitor. Somewhere
I read that they made the AppleColor Composite monitor for the IIc
which I'm assuming would be the right color. Anyone seen one of these
before? Will it sit on the IIe case?

A couple of years ago, I was in the *exact* same boat you are. Here is what I ended up with:

It might not look platinum, but the 3.5" drive is a SuperDrive (G7287). The 5.25" drives are both A9M0107's. The monitor is the AppleColor Composite Monitor IIe (A2M6021) and it sits on the IIe case perfectly. The Kensington System Saver is the Platinum IIe edition (that is, it has the Platinum IIe on the box).
