More Cards to Ponder
I have a few more cards that I'll poll the net about. If you see one you
like, let me know, and I'll work with you to get it to you -- they're in a
local store gathering dust.
Corvus Transporter -- I saw several of these -- only output of this card
appears to be a two-pin jack on the keyboard end of the card. A primitive
networking card?
The Alaska Card by Central Point Software (circa 1983). Appears to be a
RAM device of some kind; the software seems to be made for copying RAM
images directly to/from disk - there's got to be more going on there,
BSAVE would do that. The card has a momentary-contact switch on a long
cable -- does this thing snapshot memory to the floppy?
ALS Serial Card - obvious function, but there is no software with it; will
it fake a 6551 ACIA? I don't have this one in front of me so I don't know
right-off which ACIA/UART it sports. (ALS == Advanced Logic Systems)
Microsoft Softcard -- the Z80B -- just wondering if anyone can point me at
a URL that describes the DIP switch settings for this, or how to boot CP/M
on it.
Apple's Super Serial Card II -- does anyone have the pinouts for the
Modem/Terminal jumper block? I need to manufacture a couple of "modem"
blocks but may not have the time to build the map to reverse-engineer it.
Thank you again for any info!
