Now I am really confused about the ribbon cable with the stripe. You
state that a red label drive should have a yellow stripe on the ribbon
cable but if you have a black label drive with a red stripe you will
melt the cable. So what drive do you use with the red stripe ribbon
cable?
Both my Mac Pluses have red label drives, is there no chance of using
these to replace the unidisk mechanism?
