If she is willing to use AppleWorks then you need to contact Joe Kohn.
He has the rights to all of the NAUG templates. These templates were
made up by teachers so there should be one or too that would warm her
heart. (Nerviously humming under his breath, Joe Kohn awaits his turn
at the keyboard. :-)
