iigs and mac

I would like to know how can I use image disk for the IIgs and which are
on my macintosh , because I can't mount IIgs Disks on my mac and my IIGS
can't read mac disks. Besides when I create the disk which corresponds
to the image the mac asks me if I would like to format it, so what
should I do
