Can I use my old Apple II+ to access the internet?

I use a Macintosh Performa to access the internet and this Newsgroup, but
seeing this group I wonder can I use my old Apple II+ (it's in the closet)
to access the internet? The computer works fine and I have a modem, is it
possible if I have the right software? Thanks in advance for any advice.
