Splitting a file...

     What's the best way (within GS/OS) to split a file in to two files
of about equal size?  Also, is there a freely availabile _GS/OS based_
program which will do Zmodem or even just Ymodem or Ymodem-G?  

I've been trying to transfer a 30 meg file from my GS over to a PC over
a serial link.  Xmodem is just too slow.  =)  I could transfer it with
Proterm if I could fit it on a Prodos partition, but unfortunately the
file size limit for Prodos seems to be 16 megs.
