If you have the imagewriter II and AppleWorks 3.0 or later you can do
this. AppleWorks lets you set up six 'special codes'. You could use one
to switch to black, and the other five to set the imagewriter II to any
one of the six other colors offered.
The drawback is that you will use up the black ink much faster than the
three other colors.
