   Given the way you earlier lied about Merlin being available on
"ALL" Apple II sites, I find this extremely hard to believe.

   I bought Orca/M for my GS sight unseen, many years ago. Why? Good
reviews from magazines, and a lot of stuff in Nibble magazine used
it. It's done an excellent job for me. I've seen a lot of good stuff
written in both it and Merlin, and many programmers I've talked to use
one or both of the pair. None of this "well, if I'm feeling nice
today, I'll pay for it" crap.

   Merlin is *commercial* software. Yuo buy it, you get support. You
don't buy it, you get no support. What's so hard to grasp about that?
