I personally recommend against using HFS for any data you care
about. There are no real GS tools for HFS data recovery, and even on
disks that were supposed to be unaffected by the bug they 'patched'
(i.e. <96MB), I've still had filesystems get corrupted.
Make lots of good backups of all your data is a good idea.
