You are lucky to be somewhere where they can be purchased ... here in
Canada the Apple // has been DEAD for several years ... in my area
anyway ... and I know as I give business to any place that deals in
"stuff" for my Apples.

The //gs is a lot better as it will use many MAC peripherals but the
older //c's use that DIN 5(?) connector.  Seeing that the UseNet is a
resource I thought that pointing out the options would be preferable
to having the project dropped just because the store clerk looked at
you as though "2 heads" on your shoulders IS NOT normal!!!     :-)

By the way, can you still buy the //c Smart Port hard drive ... my
kids would KILL for one (or 2) of those!!!
