   That's the 5-pin port with the printer icon, which is slot #1.
Make sure the printer's set to the same settings as the port, which
should be 9600 8N1.

   DOS commands like this should be written as 'PRINT CHR$(4)"PR#1"'.
Alternatively, you can simply type the 'PR#1' from the basic prompt
and get it to work.

   That'd probably be real difficult. Apple tended to shaft users of
pre-Mac stuff by only providing drivers for their 'official' products
like the Imagewriter and Laserwriter.

   Most programs are not understandable by looking at a byte dump
(unless you're very good); this goes double if they're packaged up for
transmission over the internet. Please see the comp.sys.apple2 FAQ as
mentioned above for downloading instructions; null modem is most
likely what you'll have to end up doing.
