US power plugs are pretty much standardized, so if it's got a 3-pin
connector and a power cable from a different device works, it should
be usable.

You noted what model number it is, but didn't note the
manufacturer. If it's by Apple, it probably will work. Other ones,
depends on whether it's compatible with the software you're using--
serial dot matrix printers will probably be the most compatible.

That is a mouse/joystick port, not a serial port. The printer port
is the 5-pin one with a printer icon over it. Quoting from the
comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html, sections 2.4 and 4.4:

Various companies sell cables for the Apple //c's more oddball 5-pin
serial ports; check out Atlaz Computer Supply (516-239-1854) or LYBEN
Computer Systems at (800) 493-5777

>Where can I find ribbons for the printer?

Depends on the printer type. Mail order may be the way to go.
