RealAudio has a format (.ra or .ram; I don't bother with it anyhow)
that is streaming audio only, no save to disk for later. This is
apparently because they want to be able to charge for downloads of
certain things (whole tracks of music by commercial artists, etc), and
if people can't save and copy them, then the music industry has a much
better chance of supporting them.
The save-to-disk RealAudio formats might be doable, but the realtime
streaming is probably out.
