Well the regular Genie folks are more and more conveneing at delphi. The
A2 section over there is being upgraded. I suspect that much of the old
Genie files will be available at delphi. I have been trying to get the
archives of sections of the bbs that I might be interested in later.
Everyone has been encouraged to do this.
Many of the paid volunteers (?) on Genie have said that Genie will be
down by February. They say programmers have already been laid off. Some
people are working to get copies of all the files before this happens.
But Genie has given no official notice of anything. I do know some
people are mad at Genie brass. Genie may linger on for longer. Genie is
VERY dead except for A2. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go down.
