The scanner did the hard work?

<opinion>
My body requires more calories to operate than the scanner.

The scanner sits there and moves a lighted "camera" back and forth.

I have to cut the binding off the book with a tablesaw. Then put page
1 face down.  click scan.

Open scanner. Put page 2 face down (flip the current page). click
scan.

open scanner. put page 3 face down. click scan

open scanner. flip page for page 4 face down. click scan

500 page book takes a LONG time

when I scan a book, I do alot more work than the scanner does.

ps I've never "watermarked" any of the scans I made, but have been
tempted to.
