I own one of each, and I use the Monitor 100 (the name for the RGB with the
power tilting screen) with my //e and I use the composite color as a TV
monitor. The picture on my 100 is pretty good, plus you don't get the fringy
characters when you have graphics and text on the screen together. DHR desktop
programs don't have bleedy colors like on the composite color does unless you
press the monochrome switch. You don't get any better graphics with the RGB
card, since it only converts the //e's video into an RGB signal aside from the
normal 80 column action.

The list on the 100 was $600 and $300 more for the card, so I'll go out on a
limb and say that they didn't sell so hot. Seems they're considerably more
common than //c LCDs though. Since I got mine at a going out of business sale
back in '85, I got the monitor and card for $500ish.
