    Yes, this group is for general dicussion concerning models of
Apple II series and anything which relates to them, this includes
the: Apple II, II+, IIe, IIc, IIc+ and IIgs. Clone machines, and
to a certain point, software/hardware emulators on other platforms 
as well. Dicussion about the Apple III platform is welcome too, or 
even the 'Apple I' computer kit for that matter. So, that covers 
dicussions about technology from 1976 up until the present. :)

    comp.sys.apple2 is the main group, though there is a hierarchy
of other Apple II groups for specific topics (i.e. buying/selling,
programming, telecommunications, binary software postings, usergroups, 
specialized software, etc). Below is a listing of that hierarchy, or 
rather, those still active and in regular use:

- comp.sys.apple2
- comp.sys.apple2.comm
- comp.sys.apple2.gno
- comp.sys.apple2.marketplace
- comp.sys.apple2.programmer
- comp.sys.apple2.usergroups
