   The ads make it sound like it's probably just X.10 technology,
which has been available for the //e since probably about 1982 or
so. You wouldn't be able to run X.10 software on your //e "in the
background," but that's probably not too great a loss at all.

   IBM: 14 years late to a good idea. More likely, X.10 was available
for a while, died off as PCs were the 'business' machines, and is
coming back to the home market. As opposed to Apple's "we had the
right thing 14 years ago, but to hell with you suckers who bought
it."
