Me not! If you have ever read Santoro's words in the "Operation Applestorm"
(available on my www page), you will understand Apple's marketing strategy:

- Keep the IIe since this architecture is very widespread and simple to
  emulate (Mac LC, various software emulators)

- Kill the IIgs since this architecture is expensive and rare. You can
  see this if you remember the fact that there are still no bug-free
  IIgs emulators around.

- Usher the remaining AppleII users towards the Mac. Kick the others
  in the back!
