When ya don't change the battery for a long time, it corrodes, making
it look like moss, hence the name. "See, moss!"

No way. MY printer port is LPT1.

#3 is skipped, like in my DMA list ;D

>5) Talks about DMA like its something you need to set

EVERYTHING needs to be set! I am a hopeless tinkerer, and am
constantly fixing/breaking things that are {already} fixed/broken.

Nope:
Conventional
Expanded
Extended
Virtual
Upper
High
Flash
Shadow
Static
EDO (Extended Data Out?)
Read-Only
Random-Access
Dynamic Flat-Pak
Reserved
Sample

These are the kinds in mine. (Some memory goes in several categories)

In others, you may have:
Fast-Page
Static Dynamic
Video
EDO Dynamic(?)

This way, you know an installation really "took", and won't fall out.
Much.

>8) Memory use has suddenly tripled when productivity has gone down

I resent that! With 16MB, I can play so many games of Solitare at
once, I can't even remember what it was I was forgetting in my
startegies in all of 'em.

IDONOTDO.THT!
