If you were going to upgrade, I would suggest an 80MB internal hard
disk and a 4MB RAM expansion, both from Alltech. This will give
you enough space and memory to run just about any IIGS software.
Estimated cost is about $180 US, but there may be discounts for
schools.
For software, I'm sure many of the programmers here will be glad to
donate their sharewares to a worthy cause. Hope this helps.
